Walnutport Review may select up to three original short stories for publication each month.

One story may be selected as our Featured Story and receives a $25 payment to the author.

Up to two additional stories may also be selected for publication. These additional selections are publication-only and do not receive monetary compensation.

There is no fee to submit.

Payment does not affect our editorial decisions. All submissions are considered on the quality and suitability of the work.

Local Business Sponsored Stories

Local businesses may sponsor clearly labeled regional features — local history, business history, community stories, and regional profiles. Typical range: $25–$50 depending on placement and scope.

Sponsored content is not a reader submission and is separate from our monthly short-story selections. It is always clearly labeled as sponsored.

Fiction, folklore, history, and reader experiences are published with clear labels. We do not present legends, paranormal claims, or fiction as verified fact.
